100% Biodegradable Take-Out Containers!
All of our take-out containers are made of non-petrochemical, 100% biodegradable material (made from the stalk of sugarcane plants). And they are good for the Earth if composted, as they biodegrade without releasing toxic chemicals into the soil.
They are also better for you because unlike other take-out containers which have been shown to leech chemicals into food (especially hot food), our take-out containers keep the 100% organic meals you get from us clean and pristine.
Even our cutlery is environmentally friendlier! We use only 100% biodegradable take-out forks and knives that are made from potato starch (no plastic).
The bottles of our bottled water are made from corn plastic, and is thus biodegradable too.
Sustainability is a process... very few companies on Earth are currently fully sustainable (which we define as zero waste, zero pollution). We definitely are not completely sustainable, however, we plan on moving in that direction to the best of our abilities.
